IMP lab members took part in the “Run in Lyon” race

Every year, a team from the IMP laboratory participates in the Run in Lyon race, that took place on Sunday, October 6, 2024. This race is the biggest running event in the Lyon metropolitan area. This year, more than 30,000 runners set off from the Vieux Lyon neighborhood to Place Bellecour.

The event included several races, including a marathon, a half-marathon, and a 10 km race.

34 runners (19 men and 15 women) from the ranks of the laboratory and our 3 sites took on the challenge across all three categories:

• 17 participants in the 10 km
• 11 participants in the half-marathon
• 6 participants in the marathon

In total, nearly 653 km were run by our polymer enthusiast athletes! Everyone then gathered for a lunch to review the performances (as they say, after the effort comes the comfort).

The laboratory is proud to be represented in the ranking of companies in the metropolitan area that run the Run in Lyon, and thanks all the participants for their efforts, their hours of training, as well as those who cheered them on during the race.
