Ionic Liquids / Thermosets / Polymer Blends / Composites / CO2 Capture
Research themes/centers of interest
During fifteen years I developed a great expertise in the field of polymer/Ionic liquid systems for various applications such as automotive, aircraft, energy and environment. Thus, I worked mainly on thermosetting and thermoplastic composites, nanocomposites, polymer blends, electrospinning, polymer gel electrolytes and more recently on superhydrophobic surfaces and 3D/4D printing. More recently, i also developed a new research area based on the synthesis of a new generation of ionic liquid monomers, and Ionic Liquid Crystals to develop degradable networks. In addition, i investigate the structure/property relationships of polymer materials.
